Epiphany Cathedral Catholic School admits students of all races, colors, and national and ethnic origins to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded to students at our school. All families seeking a faith-filled, classical Catholic education for their children are welcome.
3. Required Documents
You will be able to upload these documents to FACTS as part of the application process:
Birth Certificate
Baptismal Certificate & Parish Verification Form (if Catholic)
Most recent report card
Previous year’s final report card
Current Standardized Test Scores (IOWA, TerraNova, FSA, etc.)
Any academic or psychological evaluations (IEP, 504 Plan, etc.)
4. STAR 360 Assessment with Mrs. Dalton, Lead Resource Teacher
All Epiphany students take the STAR 360 three times a year. Star Assessments are computer-adaptive tests (CATs) that measure reading, math, and early literacy skills. Our teachers will use the data from STAR Assessments to answer essential questions he or she has about your child’s learning needs and to improve academic outcomes for all the students in the class.
5. Shadow Day
Once the completed application has been received and the testing is complete, all information will be reviewed by our Admissions Team (Principal, Lead Resource Teacher, and Registrar). You will then be contacted to schedule a Shadow Day at the school. Upon completion of the Shadow Day, our Admissions Team will meet with your family to discuss potential acceptance and the enrollment process.

Admissions Information
Students are selected for enrollment based on the following priority:
Current students (re-enrollment)
Siblings of students currently enrolled at Epiphany
Families who are registered and are active members of Epiphany Cathedral Parish
Children of Epiphany Cathedral Catholic School Alumni
Students transferring in from another Catholic school
Families who are registered and active parishioners of neighboring Catholic parishes
All other families
Additional factors considered in the admissions process include the order applications are received, previous academic, disciplinary and service records, and placement exam performance. Applying for financial aid has no bearing on admission decisions. The school reserves the right to accept those students whose needs can be met within our existing educational program. Students accepted to Epiphany Cathedral Catholic School are subject to a probationary period of 90 days to determine compatibility with the school.
Age Requirements
Students entering Pre-K 3 must be three years of age by September 1st and be fully potty trained.
Students entering Pre-K 4 must be four years of age by September 1st.
Students entering Kindergarten must be five years of age by September 1st.
Students entering 1st Grade must be six years of age by September 1st, have successfully completed Kindergarten, and meet the reading readiness requirements of the school.
