About Us

On May 31, 1959, our parish broke ground on a dream. Volunteers donated time, money, and materials to construct a school that would open its doors that very fall. While finishing touches were completed, students began their journey at the neighboring Kentucky Military Institute before moving into our new building on October 5, 1959. Two dedicated Sisters of St. Benedict welcomed grades 1-4, beginning a legacy of academic excellence.

Built through extraordinary parish generosity, Epiphany School opened with 11,000 square feet of learning space, four completed classrooms with room to grow. The Epiphany Guild Half and Half Club furnished our school with essentials, from student desks to teaching materials. Families invested in their children’s future with modest tuition, trusting in our mission. Through decades of faithful support, our school has flourished, blessed by the prayers and commitment of countless families who call Epiphany home.

Today, we honor those founding families by continuing their vision with renewed purpose. As we embrace the timeless wisdom of classical education, where virtue, knowledge, and truth guide every lesson, we prepare our students not just for academic success, but for lives of meaning and service. Rooted in our Catholic faith and inspired by centuries of educational tradition, Epiphany Cathedral Catholic School looks forward to forming the next generation of faithful leaders.
