For more than fifty years, Epiphany Cathedral Catholic School has provided students with a strong academic foundation rooted in the Catholic faith. Serving students from preschool through eighth grade, we seek not only to prepare students for the next stage of their education, but to help them grow in wisdom, virtue, and a lifelong desire to learn.
Our academic program follows the standards of the Diocese of Venice and provides rigorous instruction across the curriculum. As a Catholic school, however, we believe education should reach beyond standards and benchmarks. Our goal is to educate the whole child, mind, body, and soul, and to help our students recognize and pursue what is true, good, and beautiful.
A Classical Catholic Approach
Epiphany is embracing a classical Catholic approach to education, drawing upon the rich intellectual and educational tradition of the Church. This approach places wonder, conversation, great stories, history, language, and the pursuit of truth at the heart of learning.
Students are encouraged to ask meaningful questions, think carefully, communicate clearly, and make connections across subjects. Teachers lead students through discussion, narration, reading aloud, memorization, writing, hands-on exploration, and other time-tested practices that develop both knowledge and habits of mind.
Rather than viewing subjects as isolated from one another, we help students see the connections between literature, history, science, mathematics, art, music, language, and faith. At the center of this education is the understanding that all truth ultimately points toward God.

High expectations remain an important part of an Epiphany education. Student progress is regularly assessed, and teachers use assessment data along with their daily knowledge of each student to provide appropriate challenge, support, enrichment, and remediation.
Faith at the Center
Our Catholic identity is not simply one part of the curriculum. It shapes the entire educational experience. Students participate in the sacramental life of the Church, attend Mass regularly, pray together throughout the school day, study Sacred Scripture and the teachings of the Church, and are given opportunities to serve others. We partner with parents, who are the primary educators of their children, in helping students grow in both knowledge and faith.
Through this partnership, we seek to form young people who understand that their gifts and education have a purpose: to know God, to love Him, and to use their talents in service to others.
Technology with Purpose
Technology remains an important tool at Epiphany, but it is used intentionally and appropriately in support of learning.
Our classrooms provide students and teachers with access to modern instructional technology, including interactive classroom displays, Chromebooks, iPads, and our STREAM and robotics resources. Technology allows students to research, create, collaborate, and communicate while developing the skills they will need in an increasingly digital world.
At the same time, we recognize that not every learning experience is improved by a screen. Reading a great book, discussing an important idea, solving a problem by hand, creating art, performing music, conducting an experiment, and speaking face-to-face all remain essential parts of a rich education.

When students graduate from Epiphany Cathedral Catholic School, we want them to leave with more than strong academic preparation. We want them to be curious and thoughtful young men and women who can read carefully, write and speak clearly, reason well, solve problems, appreciate beauty, and approach the world with confidence and faith.

Your child’s academic journey can begin at Epiphany at age three and continue through eighth grade. Throughout those years, our teachers work in partnership with families to provide an education that challenges the mind, strengthens character, and nurtures the soul.
