Mrs. Joanne Giaonpulos

My name is Joanne Gianopulos and I have been working at Epiphany Cathedral School since 2001.  I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and moved to Dayton, Ohio, where I worked as a Librarian for 18 years in a K-6 elementary school.  I am blessed with 3 children and 3 wonderful grandchildren and a very supportive husband.

I enjoy being with the children in the library.  I have such a love of reading that I want to instill in the children my love for books.  One of my favorite things is reading to the children and adding some sparkle to their day.  I always tell them if you have a good book, you always have a friend!!  I am also very involved with Venice Theater.  It always amazes me to see the transformation the children go thru to get ready for a production.

I am currently serving as a Eucharistic Minister and a second grade Religious Education teacher.  The best part of my Religious Ed ministry at Epiphany Cathedral, is helping second graders go through the Sacrament of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.

I truly found a home here at Epiphany Cathedral School and love working with children in God's name.
